Chief Accountant
Reaton Food, one of the leading pan-Baltic distributors of high-quality food products, has been operating in Lithuania since 2000. The company is currently seeking a Chief Accountant to join its team in Vilnius.

Mission: Organize the branch's accounting and tax records. Prepare financial statements as a standalone reporting unit, in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania and the parent company's policies.
Key responsibilities
Oversee the branch's accounting and tax records, prepare and submit mandatory reports to state authorities, and provide financial data to the parent company for consolidation.
Ensure the branch’s financial health by monitoring budget execution, key financial indicators, cash flow, and partner settlements.
Manage the preparation of branch financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow statement, etc.) for both branch management and the parent company.
Control receivables and settlements with creditors, monitor payment terms and credit limits; propose delivery restrictions in case of delays, and collaborate with the sales department on debt collection.
Monitor sales representatives' compliance with financial discipline and customer service regulations (payment terms, document accuracy, credit limits, etc.).
Oversee fixed asset accounting, depreciation, bank and cash operations, as well as payroll calculation and tax withholding for branch employees.
Supervise regular inventory counts and ensure accurate reflection of results in the accounting system.
Participate in core personnel processes (hiring, offboarding, and documentation) in coordination with the parent company’s HR department.
Liaise with external auditors and banks regarding branch operations, in coordination with the parent company.
Qualifications and Experience
Higher education in economics, finance, or accounting.
Excellent MS Excel skills, experience working with ERP systems.
At least 5 years of professional work experience in an equivalent position (as a Chief Accountant or Senior Accountant).
Strong analytical skills.
High sense of responsibility and accuracy.
Fluency in Lithuanian, and very good knowledge of Russian and English.
